The Steinbichler COMET xS is a compact 3D digitizing system designed for fast, easy measurement and inspection of small objects. High accuracy and excellent 3D data quality are the key characteristics of this system, making it the idea solution for applications in quality control, reverse engineering, rapid manufacturing and design.
The integrated positioning unit including a tilt and rotating axis enables the automated capturing of the complete object surface. Measurement programs specially adapted to the part geometry can be generated quickly and easily by the user. The automated measurement of surface data does not require any user interaction.
